Mission Statement

Our mission is to embrace the rich tapestry of humanity, welcoming all cultures and people from every background. Inspired by the legacy of Saint Katharine Drexel, we are dedicated to creating a spiritual home where every individual feels valued, respected, and loved. Through our commitment to faith, service, and education, we strive to build a more inclusive and compassionate world, reflecting the universal love of Christ.

Goals

  1. Increase Representation: Aim to have a diverse committee that reflects the community’s demographics by recruiting members from underrepresented groups.
  2. Community Engagement: Organize events and activities that celebrate cultural diversity and encourage participation from all community members
  3. Feedback Mechanisms: Establish channels for marginalized members to provide feedback and voice their concerns, ensuring their perspectives are heard and addressed
  4. Awareness Campaigns: Launch campaigns to raise awareness about the importance of diversity and inclusion within the community

Projects for 2024-2025

  1. Sponsor Music, Dance, Poetry on the Plaza: Date, August 17, 2024, 6:00PM to 9:00PM
  2. Catholic Art from around the world exhibit: November 2024
  3. Celebrating the True meaning of Christmas with Creches from around the world
  4. Dinner Around the World: 4 January 2025

We welcome anyone from the parish who would like to join us and help with this Ministry. We meet the first and third Sunday of every month from 10:00AM to 11:00AM in the Parlor adjacent to the narthex.
